Perhaps he was just trying to stop the messages posted to the
letterbox message board from being delivered to his personal email
inbox, since they accumulate so quickly. The easiest way to do this
is to access your 'Account Info' by clicking on it in the top, right
corner and turn off the option that says email html? or text? (or
something like that) and to click on the option that says you will
read the messages on the board/website, instead. Not sure if
the 'unsubscribe' message to the list will accomplish this...

Just an idea?
